THE 2026 CHAMPIONSHIP RACE WILL BE
OCTOBER 2026
Racing rules and formats will be coming soon. Our six race series will begin will be point based with additional points for speed and other pilot bonuses.
Each race will be two laps around a circuit with obstacles and bonuses available.
Pilots will fly in speed runs where they will be timed and judged based on the rubric that follows. They are 10 total metrics that pilots are judged on. There are a total of 260 points available per race. Pilots accumulate points through the season and the highest points at the seasons end is the champion!
One Racer at a time!
Racers will take timed laps and be judged on their performance. This is for safety and to allow for spectators to enjoy each pilots style!
Two Laps
Each heat consists of two laps around the circuit. Pilots will have three heats each. The slowest time is thrown out. Top two scores are used for judging.
Side Quests!
The circuit consists of additional "side Quests" that pilots can use to earn points in addition to the other available points.

Penalties will deduct from a pilots points score. Penalties like crashing, hitting or missing gates, , flying to low or high or out of the course.

Its a race so the fastest overall time around the two lap course will get 100 points.

Pilots will be able to earn up to a 20 point bonus for the largest difference between the times of their laps. This shows the pilot is learning and getting better in real time!

Pilots will earn points for the largest difference between their fastest time in the prior race and their fastest time in the current race.

Pilots can be penalized for excessive altitude, leaving the course, crashing, and missing gates. You have to play by the rules. Penalty amounts are to be determined.

Pilots who race in the prescribed altitude zones can earn up to 20 points.

Pilots can earn up to 20 points for having the highest throttle during the race for the highest amount of time. Pilot who "Sent it" the most earns 20 points.

Total available points per race
There are up to 260 points available in the first 5 races. The Championship race has a value of 1.5 for all race stats. For example the fastest time at the championship race earns 150 points instead of just 100 for a regular season race. Thus the championship race is worth up to 390 points. Total points available in the grand prix are 1690.
